Episode 1 - 8:

Falling Up

After a brutal introduction through the form of a multi-team deathmatch, the party earns each other’s grudging respect and the unenviable opportunity to work with the local division of the Enforcers; a privatized police force/mercenary lawkeepers.

Tasked with going undercover to infiltrate one of the three criminal factions that rule the piratical city of Toraigh, their clandestine mission is known only to the top brass of the Enforcers. One thing is made explicitly clear; as far as the organization is concerned the party, and their mission, do not exist.

After brief deliberation they decide to infiltrate the Greybloods, a thieves guild with chapter’s throughout the nation, and they quickly learn that one does not simply contact the Greybloods, they contact you. To attract their attention our party sets out to ‘liberate’ a shipment of Fomorian Steel, a valuable commodity in these war-ravaged lands.

The burglary quickly becomes a robbery as they are discovered, multiple times, and forced to fight their way out. Three of the group are captured by other Enforcers and brought to prison, while the other two make good their escape.

Inside the prison the three are given one lifeline from the Lieutenant Commander of the Enforcers, and with it they were able to break out of prison and rejoin their more fortunate counterparts. Thankfully, while not technically successful, the tale of their exploit is quickly blown out of proportion by the rumor mill of The Shattered city, (with the help of a few well placed lies).

Now our party faces the same dilemma as before; how do terrible thieves get noticed by a guild of thieves?
