The newest race of beings to The Wylder, Toy society and history is part and parcel with their religion, the Church of the Maker. The Church was the first power uniting Toys in Mag Na Mell, crafted by The Maker himself. In centuries past it was the only form of hierarchy known to the Toys, growing in complexity as their society evolved in order to keep up with the bursting population and the never-ending warmachine. When the Maker’s power waned and he began his seclusion the Church quickly began to lose its absolute control over the aggressively-burgeoning society. Different interpretations of The Maker’s will codified the fractures that had been growing for those centuries, the leaders of these new sects coincidentally happened to be in charge of the largest militaries.

The Church is currently the governing body of Dubcluain, though in many ways that is in name only. Leadership consists of the leaders of the largest sects, forming the Carillon Council. While the Church is currently a shadow of its former self, it is still an aspect of a majority of Toys’ lives even if it’s taken on a more spiritual angle. The belief in the Maker is a strong and common theme throughout Toy societies in Mag Na Mell, which has helped maintain a general peace domestically speaking, but the zealotry it was once known for has largely been abandoned in Dubcluain, while enthusiastically embraced Airta Kunds.
