Artist Notes 10/29/2019: Hey guys, happy Monday! Hope you all are doing well!
Saratoga Comic Con was a blast! We had an awesome time, so glad to see some familiar faces there as well! I really didn’t get a chance to walk around the actual con as much as I was hoping to (for a number of reasons, but one good one was that the table was honestly just busy a lot–there were so many people at the con! ^ ^), but I still came home with a stack of business cards of other artists to follow, which is always a fun outcome of conventions. And Saratoga Springs is just a lovely town. I mustered up the energy to walk around town a little between the con and dinner on Saturday night and found a cool bookstore, there were lots of galleries, and cute ice cream places. It was really just really cool.
And this might seem kind of silly, but I love that more conventions are doing food delivery to tables for artists now too, bringing adequate snacks and figuring out lunch has always been a huge stress for me since you’re typically tied to the table, but that was another cool feature, the food vendors there were taking orders and doing table delivery.
Anyway, most importantly I really appreciate all of you wonderful folks to who stopped by the table and always make conventions such a heartening experience for me. <3 It really means the world!
