Artist Notes 1/9/2020: Hey guys, happy …Wednesday. :/ Thank you for bearing with me, as always. <3

As some of you probably saw in my Facebook post last night, this slight delay was caused by moving! We’re moving veeeery far, literally 1,300 miles away, off to the mid-west. So, unsurprisingly I guess, the logistics of that are eating up more of my time than I would like and last night was really down to the wire to make some important decisions. That being said, I’m very excited about our new location (right outside Kansas City, MO), getting to see new sights and meet new people–but I’m also incredibly sad to be leaving Vermont. I love all the nerdy communities that we’re a part of up here! All the wonderful folks we see at conventions (we’ve made so many amazing friend at cons in New York, New Hampshire, and Maine, too!) and local events, our local comic creators group, the list goes on. I don’t want to think that we’re “leaving anything behind” because we aren’t. We’ll be back to visit (at MINIMUM once a year, but probably more). Even still though, I really don’t think of this as closing a door or moving on or something: friendships and treasured memories don’t fade with distance. I’ll miss everyone on the east coast but this won’t be goodbye forever by any means. <3

All this to say we’ve got some pretty insane upheaval ahead of us! I am not going to let the pace of the comic slow down, but I can’t promise that the exactly day of the update won’t get a little softer for a couple weeks… The good news is this is all going to happen pretty fast, so hopefully I’ll be settled in our new home and back to a normal schedule very soon! …but for the next couple weeks I’ll be surrounded by boxes and frantically trying to tie up loose ends. >.>
