Artist Notes 6/17/2020: Hey guys, I’m going to keep is really short tonight because I’m exhausted (sorry the page is going up so late at night…) but I had some illustration work to do this week that wasn’t Mag Na Mell so my bandwidth was eaten up pretty substantially.

However, I do want to take a moment to say that we all know the world is still on fire, even though the “hype” and media coverage about the protests is starting to die down. That makes it more important than ever to stay actively speaking up. Stay engaged. I’m not laboring under the delusion that my voice is one people need to hear weighing in (far from it) however, I do feel that every person counts when it comes to keeping progress moving, we can’t let our efforts die down. For fuck’s sake, Breonna Taylor’s killers still haven’t been arrested! We can’t move on and repeat this outrage cycle again in another 6 years. It has to be different this time, it’s time to put our collective foot down and demand justice. We can’t ever stop having the energy to care.
