Episode 3:

Black Paws and Chatting Jaws

Rueben tells the party about the Soaked Sail Inn, a seedy bar they could use to gather intel on the Greybloods. With no better leads they travel to the inn, but upon arrival encounter a local gang known as the Black Paw Boys. During the ensuing melee Reuben is knocked unconscious while the party eliminates the rest of the Boys. The gang's leader Nash is spared, and allowed to run away.

Upon entering the Soaked Sail the squad meets Dusty Chambers, the fox Stuffkin barkeep. Dusty helps them clean up and provides them with drink and some local info.

After getting a read of the room, Shoal identifies many potential leads, and the party decides to split-up to gather some information.

Flynn grabs a seat to play cards with a slick-looking Doll who introduces himself as Baz the Tramp. Flynn loses a few hands, but in doing so notices that Baz is cheating. After calling him out he manages to get Baz to divulge what little he knows about the Greybloods. Baz reveals that he does some independent contracting with the organization, but that they are secretive and will be difficult to contact without drawing their attention first.

Ana and Rayna eavesdrop on a nearby table of sailors, overhearing that they had recently salvaged some steel, a valuable commodity in these parts. Said steel has been left sitting on the dock outside their warehouse in the Western Ledgewarf of the Docks district.

Shoal and Reuben pick up a game of darts with a Doll, a Troll, and a Wulven and wager a game on getting them to divulge a secret they overheard them talking about. Shoal and Reuben win the game handily, and afterward Henrie the Troll reveals that his brother stumbled upon a magical tincture while exploring a nearby cave.

The party reconvenes and decides that stealing the salvaged steel is their best bet of attracting the attention of the Greybloods and decides to pack it in for the night.
