Artist Notes 3/19/2018: Hey guys! Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a great week!

So I have good news… remember how back around Christmas I was like “I’m finally getting ahead again, woo!” and then a week later I was like “Nevermind, guess I deleted a bunch of work. ;-;” Well, I’m finally getting ahead again. Can you believe that!? Three months! XD It’s a weird thing, because I really only have nights and weekends to work on Mag Na Mell, and I have other projects going to (which I am ecstatic to eventually show you guys) it really takes a perfect storm of good planning on my part, and then the even more illusive circumstance: things actually going according to plan. O.O But it’s happening slowly!

Anyway, I’m curious what you guys think of this page. It’s a little difficult than my typical layout for a couple reasons. 1. Sonny had a lot to say this page, so I wanted to convey that quickly, while keeping it interesting, because I don’t want us to be in this conversation for a million pages–we’ve got places to go! 2. I’m trying to incorporate some floating panels.  Basically, I’d decided early on since MNM is in a sketchy style, clean simple layouts and panels were probably the way to go to avoid confusion, but recently I’ve decided that I think it’d be fun to change it up a little more. So we’ll see how it goes, I don’t want to get too crazy here, but I think it could help the pages look a little more fun and interesting. Let me know what you guys think down in the comments!
