Artist Notes 3/26/2018: Happy Monday guys! Hope everyone is doing well! ^ ^
I missed drawing Betha on this page! ^ ^’ Her expressions are so fun, though trying to get a little more emotional rage out of Guy is fun, too.
This is kind of a silly thing, but I’m wondering if it’s something some of you might relate to? Recently I’ve been watching a lot more anime (something I’d sort of taken a break from since High School) and I find it’s actually helping me with motivation somewhat. Since it reminds me of high school, a time when the only thing I really had to do was draw, I’d spend every waking moment that I could hunched over my sketch book. It was and still is important to me, but… I didn’t work yet, I just had so much more time and motivation, more things to procrastinate from that I really didn’t want or care to do (*homework*) unlike the tasks of adult life. :S
I started watching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood–which I’d neglected to do until recently because I hadn’t realized how different it was from the original–and it was AMAZING. Something about it really lit a fire under my ass. It’s one of the more positive experiences I’ve had with nostalgia, so that’s kind of cool. Do any of you guys have anything like that in your life? Does anyone else feel that way about anime? Let me know, I’m super curious.
Have an awesome week guys!
