Artist Notes 6/19/2017: Hey guys! Happy Monday!

For those of you that backed us on Kickstarter: Check your emails, because backer surveys just went out! Last week I also announced that I’m redoing the intro to the comic (first 8 pages) and they’re really coming along! That’s pretty much what I’ve been working on this week, and I feel much better about these than the previous introduction. It’s crazy looking back, there’s so many decisions I made in those opening panels that I look at now and think “Literally why? Why did I think that was the right way to do that?” but it’s a nice way to quantify the learning from this. XD And the opening pages were so packed with elements that were WAY out of my drawing comfort zone, and they really still are but a year’s worth of practice has made a huge difference. I will replace the original pages here on the site, too, so all can see them! 

Anyway, hope all those of you that were in school are out for the summer now and enjoying some sun! I know I am! I dragged my entire drawing/work station onto my porch yesterday because I was so sick of missing out on the nice weather. XD
