Episode 12:

Sleepless Knights

The Toy Knights rush at Shoal identifying them as the Fishbait responsible for killing Brodie, the Toy Knight Enforcer Shoal killed during their prison escape. The Toy Knights indicate that they are members of “The Brotherhood of the Keen Cutlass.” Shoal manages to burrow underground to evade the Knight's aggression while the rest of the party attempts to disable them; killing one and knocking the boss and the other lackey unconscious.

The crew decides to tie up the two unconscious knights and leave them by a tree on the side of the road. Shoal buries the dead Knight 10 feet underground. The group resumes their late-night travel back to the Soaked Sail Inn to rest unimpeded.

Shoal sneaks back out into the streets of Toraigh and heads back toward the roadway where they encountered the Toy Knights. They are astounded to find the Keen Cutlass boss no longer tied up and the lackey’s throat slit. Shoal rushes back to the Soaked Sail Inn and settles in for a night's rest, while Ana’s night proves to be rather restless.

Ana is haunted by a dream of some of her earliest memories and the tragedy of the massacre in the village of Alnwick. She explores the dream and is able to learn more about the identity of a figure from her past; a female Doll shield-bearer with fair skin & long blonde hair. Upon waking the party is pressed by Reuben who remembers that they are due to pass off a report of their intel to The Enforcers at a dead drop in the city. Reuben takes notes while the party decides on what to report; informing the Enforcers that they have made contact with the Greybloods and discovered that a member of the Enforcers was a member of a local gang.

Flynn announced he spent the evening working on Ana’s gloves and says they should pack a little more punch, but warns not to let anyone examine them more closely. He also returns Rayna and Shoal’s items after identifying both of them to be magical. Rayna is in possession of Olman’s Right Glove, and Shoal has a Blood Red Fe Crystal.

Reuben and Flynn head to Omand’s Armaments to make the intel drop. Upon depositing their intel, they are given a pouch containing a collection of detailed documents expanding the group's benefits from their patron military force. This includes discounts on weapons and armor, special access to locations & intel, salaries, and safehouses.
