Dock Distress

Ana and Shoal venture to the docks in the hopes of finding some materials that they might be able to use in order to fake the death of the ward of Lord Must. After taking some time to search the area, they stop at the Rock Bottom Bar to see if the bartender might know where the Fomorians of Toriagh keep their dead. The bartender is suspicious of the pair's questions and doesn’t give them any helpful directions, but the two are ultimately able to find a graveyard on the hilltops above the docks district called Widow’s Crest. Realizing that it is mid-afternoon and graverobbing in broad daylight might draw attention to themselves Ana and Shoal decide that they will rejoin the party and tell them their findings before returning later in the evening to retrieve the bones.

Meanwhile, Flynn is also searching the docks for an opportunity to get more information about the pirates or where he might be able to find a sleeping potion. Without much in the way of direction, Flynn wanders into an establishment called The Longshoremen’s Haul where he meets a female Gnoll bartender who makes it immediately clear that he’s not welcome there. As Flynn leaves, he is tailed by a pair of Toys who jump him down the road. Panicked, Flynn activates the combustive mechanisms in his boots creating a thunderous boom heard all around him and knocking the thugs back. The blast catches the attention of Ana and Shoal, who spot Flynn and rush to help. The trio easily dispatches the two thugs in front of all the pedestrians traversing through the docks, and as the female Poppet thug falls she says to Flynn. “The Mongers will never let you get away with this.”
